Last night Sean and I made the long trek around the corner to Jocelyn and Cory's apartment to have burritos and margaritas, and play some games.
Sean was in charge of making the margaritas. We have never made homemade margaritas before so we had to decide how many could be made from one shaker. Our first answer was 2. Sean made 4 delicious margaritas out of 2 shakers full and poured them into martini classes with only 2 icecubes each. These were very very tasty. And very very strong. I made the observation that normally at a restaurant the glass is full of ice, so really we could have made 4 out of each shaker.
When we finished our first round and our dinner, we decided to have more margaritas. Sean did not decide to follow my suggestion and use more ice, which is when we all realized almost all of the tequila was gone. On a Wednesday night.
Lesson learned: Unless you actually want a martini, use more ice in your margaritas.
