Sean's eyes lit up like a little kid on Christmas when it started snowing and continued to snow all day yesterday.
My reaction was to not leave the apartment, clean, and watch endless episodes of "Parenthood" on Netflix.
Sean is definitely going to be the fun parent in the future. I'll be the one saying "wash those dishes and put away the laundry. Now."

& I played domestic.
cooked & cleaned til I was blue in the face.
Brian & I pet sat for someone last night, a dog.
I woke up to hear him peeing on the bedroom floor this morning.
"You little shit" I yelled, getting out of bed,
walking him out the door,
down the stairs & out the house.
I stood there, exhausted, cold.
Brian came downstairs, grabbed some paper towel,
went back up & got to work on the mess.
When we let the dog back in, we stood together,
arms crossed across our chests & gave him a dirty look.
Get back in your bed, we said.
We felt like a team.
I know it was only a dog,
& only for one night,
but it was the first taste of parenting I've shared with someone.
& it felt awesome.
